Special Vehicle Project of BYD Settles in Changsha

www.chinaspv.com: On 19th May 2015, BYD signed MOU with the local government division in Changsha in the economic development zone, which announces to invest 5 billion Yuan to settle the project of BYD electric trucks and special vehicles.

By far, this project has been under the construction, expected to put into production within this year. In 2016, the manufacturing capability reaches 2500 units, annually 5000 units by 2020 and 10,000 units in 2025. It will be the global manufacturing center of BYD electric trucks and special vehicles in Changsha.

In the next phase, BYD will implement the market strategy of new energy vehicles, referring to city buses, logistics vehicles, sanitation trucks and cars and this is the crucial base for this strategy structure.
