Heavy-duty Truck Sales Largely Increase by 113% YOY in January 2022

March 1, 2022, China, In January 2022, the total sales of domestic national VI diesel heavy-duty trucks were 24,700 units, down by 14% MOM while largely grow by 113% YOY. The sales of tractors and special purpose vehicles accounted for 2/3 of the total.
In January, the heavy-duty truck market kept sluggish. With the influence of the epidemic during the Spring Festival holiday, the whole sales only reached over 30,000 units, over 80% of which were national VI diesel heavy-duty trucks.
In January 2022, the sales of tractors accounted for more than 30% of the total national VI heavy-duty trucks and reached 34.52%, becoming the largest segmentation.
In January 2022, the sales of national VI diesel tractors were 8,538 units, up by 190% YOY.
