Datong Invest 40 Million Yuan to Improve Fire-fighting Equipments

www.chinaspv.com:In July 11th, 2013, Datong municipal government of Shanxi Province invested 43.76 million Yuan to purchase fire-fighting equipments for Datong Fire-fighting Brigade, including 32 fire-fighting trucks and 13,038 fire-fighting equipments of 85 kinds such as urban main fire-fighting tanker, elevating fire-fighting trucks and emergency vehicles. This is the biggest equipment renewal of vehicle in Datong.

Since 2008, Datong has endeavored to proceed with the recovery project of ancient city and construction of new districts accompanied by a lack of fire-fighting investment and equipments. Before this purchasing, there were only 57 fire-fighting trucks throughout the whole Datong, which were also short of equipments. This vehicle renewal achieves the basic unit fire-fighting equipments of 70% of fire-fighting stations. Meanwhile, personal protective equipments and emergency equipments also meet the standard.
