Weichai Yangzhou Bus Plant Establishes with Annual Capacity of 20,000 Units

www.chinaspv.com: Through almost 2-year construction, Weichai Yangzhou Bus Plant is about to be into production condensing various support and care together. In the afternoon of Oct. 5th of 2013, Xie Zhengyi, Party Secretary of Yangzhou City, went to the plant for an investigation and survey. He stressed that it should endeavor with the whole city to build the important project and make the project into production and effect as soon as possible. Thus, it would make a contribution to the automotive industry development of Yangzhou. In addition, Chen Yang, permanent member of municipal committee and general secretary of Yangzhou, Yao Suhua, permanent member of municipal committee, and Kong Lingjun, deputy mayor of Yangzhou, attended the activity.

Weichai Yangzhou Bus Plant is located in the Beishan Industrial Garden of Hanjiang District. Invested 2.34 billion Yuan, it would achieve its annual capacity of 20,000 buses in the first period with annual revenue of over 5 billion Yuan. For now, the construction part of this project is close to completion. Being equipped with equipments and environment setting, the plant would be into production recently. When the plant completed, Yangzhou would become the center of automotive parts and marine power system manufacturing industry by Weichai in Yangtze River Delta. Thus, the core competitiveness of Yangzhou automobile and parts industry would be enhanced.

In the project location, Xie Zhengyi inquired about the building progress, equipment installation, development of new products and preparation for production in detail. Furthermore, he visited the assembly workshop and new prototype as well as the workers working during the National Holiday.

Satisfied with the project progress, Xie Zhengyi stressed that automobile and parts industry was the fundamental industry of Yangzhou City as well as the premier key major industry. Weichai Yangzhou plant is the largest industry project within this district since Reform and Opening-up and one of the significant automotive parts. Major project building is the core of municipal work and the first thing of the whole city. We should take the most of the whole city to proceed with the major projects. All the relevant departments of the city and districts should provide professional, precise and efficient service for pushing the project into production and effect as soon as possible. Weichai Yangzhou project is not only the industry of this city but also the image of the city.
