Growth Rate of Sales of Tractors Exceeds that of Heavy Trucks in Jan.-Jun.2014

www.chinaspv.com: According to the sales data of CAAM, the sales volume of Chine heavy trucks (non-complete vehicles and semi-trailer tractors included) reaches 428,956 units, year-on-year growth of 6.53% up in Jan.-Jun. in 2014. Regarding tractors, the sales volume arrives in 140, 429 totally, year-on-year growth of 14.89% up. The growth range of the sales of tractors much exceeds that of heavy trucks.

During the first six months, sales quantity of FAW, Foton, Dongfeng, SHACMAN and Sinotruk is 41805 units, 25741 units, 23931 units, 21705 units and 12696 units respectively, 125878 units totally, accounting for 89.64% the market of tractors, year-on-year growth of 88.83%. The market concentration of the top five builders grows, however, less than 91.81% in 2012.
