SSAB Advances Hongwing Lightweight Mine Dump Trucks

Ltd. and SSAB, the global leading highly intensified steel maker. SSAB Hardox steel plates strengthen the vehicle body of stabilization and durability.

SSAB provides Hongwing with professional carriage design and steel plate processing service. Until now, Hongwing produced two units of U-type mine tippers, to be about to be sold to the quarry of Longshao Industrial Corporation. Ms. Liu from Longshao remarked, “Dump trucks made with conventional steel fail to meet our requirements of quality and efficiency while the tippers with Hardox steel plates enable 3-4 tons less of the vehicle weight, less wielding joints. Therefore, our working efficiency dramatically enhances, beneficial to less fuel consumption as well as tire wear. ”

Hongwing cooperates with SSAB for many years, as a regular customer of Hardow plates. As early as 2010, Hongwing joined Project “Hardox in My Body” (HIMB), accredited as the first HIMB Mark user by SSAB in China and became the member of “Hardox Wearparts” in 2013.
