Yuchai Brand Value Exceeds 63 Billion RMB in 2021

June 22, 2021, Beijing, China, World Brand Lab released 2021 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands analysis report in Beijing, and Yuchai ranked 99th in the list with ¥63.825 billion brand value and ranked first in internal combustion engine industry for a consecutive 16 years.
In 2020, Yuchai achieved more than ¥45 billion sales revenue, hitting a record high during the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” Period and laid a solid foundation at the beginning of the “Fourteenth Five-Year Plan”.

In recent years, Yuchai has promoted innovation in R&D, manufacture and management and achieved remarkable results in technology innovation, industry upgrade and international operation.

In terms of technology innovation, Yuchai always stood at the leading position from National I to VI emission period and finished traditional power and new energy power product layout ahead of the industry, with technology center ranking top five in China; in terms of industry upgrade, Yuchai built and put into operation green projects including pure electric commercial vehicles, eberspacher aftertreatment projects and so on; in terms of international operation, Yuchai has sold its products in over 180 countries and regions, and become the first enterprise with 500,000 units overseas engine inventory, which further improved brand influence and market competence.

Relying on high-quality product, advanced technology, perfect service and strengthened brand management, Yuchai Group has moved towards high end and international products. By now, Yuchai has registered 212 “Yuchai” series trademarks in domestic 15 commodity and service international categories and received 94 registered trademarks and certification protected trademarks in about 100 countries and regions including Germany, US and Japan.
