Loong-Gine Launched New Engines with National VI Emission Standards

After listed in 2019, Loong-Gine Power has aimed at products with national VI emission standards.

Yang Peng, general manager of Power Assembly Department of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles, said, “We developed engines according to national VI b emission standards, prolonged mature products’ advantages and took in latest emission control technology. Especially the DDi11 engine codeveloped by Loong-Gine and Volvo has been tested by the market in reliability and technology.”

DDi13 engine is a self-developed product by Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and can meet national VI emission standards. The engine adopts refrigeration EGR technology and can reach national VI b emission standards directly, with power covering 480-580 horsepower, torque covering 2400-2700N-m and B10 life span of 1.6 million kilometers.

As early as second half of 2019, main products of Loong-Gine have been put into market in batches and the first order of 100 units were from Tianjin hazardous chemical substance enterprise, which gave positive feedback for the engine.

At present, Loong-Gine mainly owns DDi50, DDi75, DDi11, DDi13 and other engines that meet national VI emission standards. Besides, Loong-Gine also saw sharp increase in gearbox, especially automatic ones, which were put into market for over 5,000 units in 2020 and is predicted to have a sales peak in the future for its popularity among customers.

It is known that DGi13L gas engine launched by Loong-Gine in April 2021 will come into market in batches in the second half of this year, and new generation AMT transmission, 15L and 16L gas engine will also be launched in the next few years.
