FAW Jiefang Signed 10,000 Units New Energy Vehicles Orders

October 8, 2021, Changchun, China, On September 29, FAW Jiefang released new energy strategy and established new energy business department, which marked Jiefang another big step in new energy business layout and continued to improved its place in commercial vehicle industry.

FAW Jiefang strives to sell 120,000 units, 320,000 units and 500,000units new energy vehicles in 2025, 2030 and 2035, accounting for 20%, 50% and 70% of total sales respectively.

FAW Jiefang new energy platform includes tractors, carriers, dumpers, special purpose vehicles and buses, which completely covers classical application scenarios.

FAW Jiefang new energy will make full efforts in three technological routes of pure electric, hybrid power and fuel cell, and achieve global leadership in key core technologies by 2030. It will make a comprehensive layout in three fields of research and development, production capacity and ecology, and strive to build a dedicated fuel cell vehicle and system base with "zero-carbon factory" as the standard and hydrogen energy industry cluster as the feature. At the same time, Jiefang will innovate business model, design and provide three exclusive services: vehicle electric separation, vehicle leasing and capacity undertaking, second-hand car and battery recycling.

In recent years, Jiefang new energy products have won customers’ high praise due to strong technology advantage and perfect service. On the site, FAW Jiefang signed 10,000 units new energy orders with 12 logistics enterprises.
