Yuchai Launched National Highest Power Engine for Agricultural Machinery

November 1, 2021, Shandong, From October 26 to 28, the 2021 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition was held at Qingdao, Shandong Province. Yuchai released two large-scale high-end intelligent agricultural machinery power products, IE-POWER and YCK16, at the exhibition site.

The IE-POWER electric drive continuously variable powertrain is a series hybrid powertrain technical solution for tractors completely independently developed by Yuchai, which is suitable for 200-260 horsepower heavy-duty tractors. Its operating efficiency and fuel saving rate increased by 10% to 30% respectively; the motor has low noise, low vibration, and excellent NVH performance; it is electrically assisted to start and accelerate, and the braking energy is recovered.

The new YCK16 series diesel engine, designed by Yuchai and AVL, integrates the latest achievements of the world's internal combustion engines, and reached the international advanced level of similar products. The power covers the range of 580 to 775 horsepower. It has energy-saving and high-efficiency, optimized combustion development, enhanced power system, and greatly improved product quality. At present, YCK16 series products have been applied in batches of construction machinery.

The release of IE-POWER and YCK16 means that the power of domestic agricultural machinery is moving towards large-scale high-end intelligence, promoting the high-quality development of national modern agriculture, and further breaking through foreign monopoly.
