November 24, 2021, Hubei, China, On November 20-21, the expert team of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) conducted a review of Dongfeng Dana Axle Laboratory. The three experts of the team agreed that the laboratory system operation meets the requirements of the relevant CNAS standards and the technical level and method application meet the test requirements. It has the ability to undertake the testing within the scope of the application for accreditation.
During the two-day evaluation, the evaluation expert group conducted a full range of strict and meticulous reviews on the laboratory operation, professional quality of the personnel, the configuration and traceability of equipment, the environmental conditions and testing quality control, proficiency testing, records, reports, etc. The review team fully affirmed the laboratory's complete management system documents, comprehensive quality management work, satisfactory on-site blind sample assessment and good management and operation level.
In November 2019, the company's laboratory passed the national laboratory accreditation for the first time. The successful passing of the re-examination certification is a high recognition of the laboratory in terms of testing, and also marks the leading domestic level of the laboratory's quality management and technical capabilities.
