December 31, 2021, Guangxi, China, On December 28, Yuchai Group’s 10,000,000th engine and the 200,000th engine in 2021 went offline. This is the first 10,000,000 record in domestic multi-cylinder diesel engine and an important milestone in China internal combustion engine industry development history.
The 10,000,000th engine is Yuchai YCK16 diesel engine with 16L displacement, 560-775hp and over 25,000h reliability life.
At present, YCK16 diesel engine has been put into operation in small batches in Shaanxi Tongli, Zoomlion, Shandong Pengxiang, Jiangsu Wode, which broke the long-time monopoly of imported brands in China heavy-duty engineering and agricultural machinery. It is expected to sell 15,000 units YCK16 diesel engine in the end of “Fourteenth Five-year Plan Period” with broader market prospect.
