The certificate was awarded by TÜV Rheinland Greater China, an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification authority.
The Euro VI emission regulation for vehicle engines is a pollutant emission control standard implemented in Europe for on-road internal combustion engines, and is currently one of the most stringent emission regulations in the world.
Yuchai S04220-61 series engine, which has obtained the first Euro VI E certificate in China, is the latest upgraded version of the power of the S series of Yuchai's mid-engine products.
