Shandong Heavy Industry and China Unicom signed strategic cooperation agreement

August 1, 2022, Shandong, China, On the afternoon of July 30, 2022, China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Jinan.

The two parties have worked together to achieve industry benchmarks in the application of 5G+ intelligent construction machinery and the construction of intelligent after-sales service platforms. The intelligent driving project based on 5G+ edge computing won the "New Business Innovation Award" at the Layer123 Global Conference. This signing marked the official launch of the strategic cooperation between the two parties.

China Unicom hopes that the cooperation between the two parties will further accelerate the construction of a model of "complementary and mutual promotion, cross-border integration, and co-existence of competition and cooperation", and make breakthroughs in deep integration in the field of 5G + industrial Internet, so as to speed up the process of manufacturing intelligentization and industrial digitalization.

Shandong Heavy Industry's industry-leading generator sets will provide independent and safe power solutions for China Unicom's data center construction. It is hoped that both parties can give full play to their respective advantages, jointly explore and promote the intelligent manufacturing of high-end equipment industry and the construction of industrial Internet platform, and build Shandong Heavy Industry into a leader in the digital transformation of high-end equipment.

According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in basic communication, 5G+ intelligent manufacturing, industrial Internet platform, intelligent logistics, intelligent warehousing, product research and development, sales and after-sales. In the next step, China Unicom and Shandong Heavy Industry will work together to achieve complementary advantages, information sharing, mutual benefit and win-win between the two groups, and provide solutions to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy.
