100 units XCMG electric tractors delivered to Tangshan

January 29, 2023, Tangshan, China, On January 15, 100 units XCMG pure electric tractors were delivered to Tangshan, Hebei province, igniting a new engine for zero-carbon development as an industry benchmark, and starting a new journey for a new force in commercial vehicle manufacturing.

The XCMG pure electric tractor is a lightweight new energy heavy truck customized according to Tangshan product standards and combined with the customer's needs. The whole vehicle is optimized and upgraded in the core technical fields such as engine, battery and electric control system and thermal management, and is committed to creating a new benchmark in the new energy heavy truck industry.

It is calculated that an XCMG pure electric tractor can save about 900,000 yuan in energy consumption and 472.35 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in five years, which is equivalent to planting 25,900 trees.

As one of the core pillar industries of XCMG's strategic development, XCMG Automobile has made a precise layout for the industrialization of new energy, and has taken the lead in releasing the battery plan and landing a demonstration project for heavy trucks, continuing to lead the development of the industry. In 2022, XCMG sold a total of 2,788 units new energy heavy trucks, a year-on-year increase of 323%. Among them, the sales volume in Tangshan continued to rank the first, with a market share as high as 23.24%.

Over the years, XCMG has continuously introduced new measures and sought new leaps. At present, it has built various power types such as pure electric, hydrogen fuel, and hybrid power. XCMG new energy heavy trucks have covered more than 70 cities across the country, boosting the continuous expansion of China's new energy engines.

Relying on its core technology advantages and good market reputation, XCMG's new energy heavy trucks have achieved batch deliveries in Linyi, Shandong, Chengdu, Sichuan, Taiyuan, Shanxi and other places.

As one hundred XCMG pure electric tractors officially landed on the land of Yanzhao, the new era of 2023 belonging to XCMG's new energy equipment is also ready to go and set sail.
