March 29, 2023, Shandong, China, On March 13, the delivery and loading ceremony of ConMet China's first batch of smart wheel products was held at the ConMet factory in Weifang, Shandong.

The Smart HubTM product delivered and loaded this time is an intelligent wheel diagnostic system launched by ConMet in 2017, which allows drivers and fleets manager to check the real-time data of the health status of the wheel end, and warns in advance before an emergency occurs, so as to improve the efficiency of vehicle operation and avoid emergencies.

At present, Smart HubTM products have been applied to a large number of fleet users in North America, with more than 10,000 vehicles installed. The first batch of delivered vehicles installed intelligent wheel hub equipment are 4 heavy-duty tractors, all of which are special-line tractors from Weifang, Shandong to Nanjing, Jiangsu and surrounding ports. Due to the high attendance rate requirements, the work intensity of the vehicles is high. After installing ConMet smart wheel products, the safety of the vehicle will be further guaranteed to meet the highest attendance rate and operational efficiency.

ConMet Smart AirTM tire pressure monitoring is an intelligent system, which deploys powerful background algorithms and computing power, can analyze and automatically optimize the engineering model based on a large amount of data in vehicle operation, and analyze the occurrence of data changes according to historical laws so as to issue early warning information to avoid unexpected events.

The Smart AirTM sensor is installed at the position of the tire valve core of the vehicle to monitor the tire pressure and send the tire pressure data every few tens of seconds. If the tire pressure drops to a certain extent or reaches the high/low critical value, it will automatically alarm. In this way, drivers and management personnel can know the status of tire pressure at any time, so as to prevent slow air leakage, deviation, premature wear and other phenomena of the vehicle, prolong the life of tires and treads, and reduce the risk of tire blowout, helps improve fuel efficiency and save fuel costs. If there are tire nails and other phenomena, they can be detected and dealt with in time to avoid safety incidents.

The Smart HubTM sensor is installed on the wheel hub of the vehicle to collect the vibration and temperature data of the wheel end. Based on ConMet's decades of engineering accumulation, it realizes the health status of the wheel end through engineering modeling, data science, advanced analysis, cloud computing and other data processing technologies visualization and real-time early warning.
