Shaanxi Auto's exports surged by over 170% in first quarter 2023

April 13, 2023, Shaanxi, China, In the first quarter of 2023, Shaanxi Automobile's production and sales were booming, with sales of more than 34,000 units vehicles of various types, a year-on-year increase of 23%, and a stable leading position in the industry. In the first quarter, Shaanxi Automobile’s export orders increased by more than 170% year-on-year, and actual sales of heavy trucks increased by more than 150% year-on-year.

Since the beginning of this year, Shaanxi Automobile has actively created a new marketing model, and successively established the "Innovative Marketing Model Strategic Alliance" to reduce operating costs for customers.

At the same time, Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicle has established sales departments for medium and heavy trucks, light trucks, new energy and special vehicles for major customers to strengthen the functions of the business command center. Focusing on 15 key sales products and 9 key market segments such as cold chain and express delivery, Shaanxi Automobile Commercial Vehicle launched a star product plan, covering 8 "star" products such as cargo light trucks, new energy light trucks, and tractors. Measures such as performance and market segment adaptability improvement, cost optimization and new technology application will continuously strengthen product competitiveness and continue to create superior products. In the first quarter, the sales of Shaanxi Automobile’s commercial vehicles increased by 83% year-on-year, among which the sales of new energy products increased by 81% year-on-year.

In the first quarter, Shaanxi Auto's overseas market continued to improve. Shaanxi Automobile has established special working groups in key markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines, and Tanzania to formulate special plans to ensure the growth of sales and share in key regional markets; Shaanxi Automobile's KD assembly (parts assembly) projects in Ethiopia and Morocco have been successfully implemented. The layout of localized assembly of heavy trucks in overseas markets is becoming more and more perfect.
