Deputy Governor of Saxony, Germany Visits Dongfeng Xiangyang Base

July 17, 2023, Hubei, China, On July 12th, Thomas Schmidt, the Deputy Governor and Minister of Regional Development of Saxony, Germany, along with his delegation, visited Dongfeng Motor Corporation's Xiangyang Base.

The delegation, led by Thomas Schmidt, conducted an in-depth tour and research at Dongfeng Motor Corporation's Xiangyang Base, specifically in one of the assembly workshops. They had a firsthand experience of the production technologies related to the driver's cabin, interior, chassis, tires, and quality inspection. They gained a detailed understanding of the operation process of the production line. They also personally experienced the spacious interior, rich configurations, and excellent performance of Dongfeng's new energy vehicles. Furthermore, they test rode and test drove the new energy products ordered by German enterprises.
