ZF launched Transwin automatic transmission in Jiaxing

October 18, 2023, China, Recently, ZF officially launched its new "Transwin" brand automatic transmission for medium and heavy-duty trucks at its transmission production base in Jiaxing.

Transwin automatic transmissions for medium and heavy-duty trucks are localized products tailored for the Chinese market based on ZF's European EcoTronic series transmission technology. This series includes two models of automatic transmissions with 9-speed and 6-speed variants, catering to different working conditions and diverse user requirements. "Transwin" expands ZF's range of automated manual transmissions (AMTs). In addition to the Transmat heavy-duty truck automatic transmission, it now extends its application to medium and heavy-duty truck models. It is suitable for various scenarios, including mid-to-long-distance transportation, refrigerated transport, urban delivery, construction vehicles, and municipal vehicles, meeting the transportation needs of the vast majority of specific segments.

As a core product in ZF's "Trans" drive system, "Transwin" inherits ZF's long-standing product advantages in transmissions. "Transwin" and "Transmat" both use ZF's latest generation software platform, and they are equipped with ZF's proprietary shift system, OptiDrive™.
