At the ceremony, FAW Jiefang and its local partner signed a strategic cooperation memorandum covering 1,500 units for 2027.
During the conference, Leng Changchun gave a comprehensive briefing on FAW Jiefang's progress in Myanmar and its future development plans, covering market expansion, product portfolio, channel development, after-sales support and localised operations. He thanked Myanmar dealers for their long-term efforts to build up the Jiefang brand locally. He noted that the MOU sets the target for future cooperation and demonstrates the firm confidence of both sides in the long-term prospects of Myanmar's commercial vehicle market.
In recent years, FAW Jiefang has continuously invested in the Myanmar market. Tailoring its offerings to local customer demands, the brand has optimised its product lineup, strengthened dealer networks and upgraded service systems to achieve deeper market adaptation. Jiefang maintains a leading position in Myanmar in both brand influence and end-user sales volume.
Going forward, FAW Jiefang will continue aligning with local market conditions, expand its dealer network and service capacity, and improve customer experience. It will reinforce overseas service support, work hand in hand with global partners for mutual benefit, further boost Jiefang's brand power and competitiveness across Myanmar and Southeast Asia, and bring Chinese trucks to the world.
