Dump truck industry sales increased by 49% month-on-month in March

In March 2023, the dump truck sales grew by 49% month-on-month, and the market is gradually recovering. In terms of industry rankings, in March, Shaanxi Auto dump truck won the championship for three consecutive years, while Jiefang and Sinotruk ranked second and third in the industry. Billing data shows that in March, Shaanxi Auto dump trucks sold 1,034 units, accounting for 34.4% of the market, occupying more than 1/3 of the overall market share, ranking first in the industry for three consecutive months and winning three consecutive championships.

In the first quarter, Shaanxi Auto dump truck sales won the championship, widening the gap with the second place in the industry. Invoicing data shows that from January to March, the cumulative sales of Shaanxi Auto dump trucks were 2,119 units, a cumulative decline of 8.2% year-on-year, the smallest decline among the top 5 companies, and a market share of 34%, which is far behind the second largest share in the industry by more than 10 percentage points, and thus the championship position is solid.
