Scheme of “Subsidy for Used Parts” Begins in Auto Engine/Transmission Pilots

www.chinaspv.com: According to Ministry of Finance, remanufacturing products with subsidy for used parts is to begin in pilots by NDRC(short for National Development and Reform Commission), Ministry of Finance, MIIT(short for Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. The pilots will be of remanufacturing auto engine and transmission in 2013 which will extend according to detailed implementation in following years.

Subsidy for Used Parts means that remanufacturing product purchasers return used ones for subsidy to purchase new products. By Subsidy for Used Parts by national choice of auto parts in pilots, it not only improves remanufacturing products recycling, extending sources of used parts, but also expand the influence and market promotion of remanufacturing products. Therefore, remanufacturing industry will realize its scale and standardized development.

The subsidy categories are to be decided by NDRC, Ministry of Finance, MIIT, Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, in which concrete enterprises and products would be confirmed by public. For those qualified remanufacturing products, Central finance will provide one-time subsidy for remanufacturing product purchasers in pilot enterprises with a top limit.
