In order to experience the power, TCO, and customization of the engine, Cummins joined a number of professional teams in the industry to participate in the in-depth drive test activities.
The professional evaluation team of China Trucks followed up and reported the whole process. From September 23 to 26, they traveled across the plains and over the mountains and rivers from Shanghai to Chengdu, a journey of 2,150 kilometers.
China Trucks, as a professional road test team, can evaluate engine data from multiple angles in the route setting, including but not limited to noise level, explosive power, safety and reliability, etc.
The entire route involves various road conditions such as plains, hills, mountains, etc. The silent performance in the cab can be tested in plains.
In relatively undulating road sections, long uphills and downhills have high requirements for the explosiveness, braking and safety of the vehicle. The road test team will test the power of the engine on the long uphill roads. And in the long downhill section, the braking response of the engine can be tested.
