Cummins and Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Renew Joint Venture Agreement

May 19, 2022, Chongqing, China, On May 17, Cummins and Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. announced to extend the joint venture agreement between the two parties until 2040. During this period, both sides will further work together to promote the sustainable development of the joint venture company, Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd.
 

Based on the new contract terms, Chongqing Cummins will introduce the QSK60 engine production platform to further expand its product matrix.

Norbert Nusterer, vice president and president of the powertrain business at Cummins, said:
