Weichai attended 2022 China International Internal Combustion Engine Exhibition

November 16, 2022, Changcha, China, From November 11th to 13th, the 2022 China International Internal Combustion Engine and Power Equipment Expo was held in Changsha. Weichai's full series of national VI powertrains, new energy products and electronic control components were unveiled, fully demonstrating Weichai's R&D strength and innovative breakthroughs in energy conservation, emission reduction, green development and other aspects of multi-power chain products.

World’s first + golden powertrain

The Weichai WP13H powertrain exhibited this time is based on the world's first heavy-duty commercial vehicle powertrain integration model, supported by the world's first diesel engine platform technology with a body thermal efficiency of 51.09%. It adopts high-efficiency combustion, low resistance, partitioned lubrication, intelligent control and other proprietary technologies, and the fuel consumption of the engine is reduced by 3L per 100 kilometers.

Integrating two world-first technologies, the Weichai Gold Powertrain System achieves excellent vehicle economy and power performance, and continues to lead a new era of energy-saving for high-horsepower heavy trucks in China.

 

At the exhibition site, Weichai's "N+H+T+M" four major platforms of high-end products were unveiled together. Among them, WP2.3Q, WP2.5N, WP7H, WP15NG, WP14T, and WP15T cover the power ranges from 115 to 680 horsepower, and the displacement is between 2 and 15L, fully covering light trucks, heavy trucks and other market segments .

The 16M33 large-bore engine is the leader of Weichai's M series, widely used in power generation, marine machinery, construction machinery and other fields.

Under the general trend of global green and low-carbon development, Weichai has pressed the "accelerator key" for multi-power and intelligent products. Weichai exhibited advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology and products, which is an excellent representative of Weichai's new energy power. As the first 200kW class fuel cell engine for high-power heavy trucks in China that has passed the test of the -34°C in cold region, it has three advantages of high integration, high economy, and high reliability. Its performance indicators are comprehensively ranking top, attracting much attention from customers.

A variety of Weichai's self-owned electronic control products were also exhibited, including vehicle controllers, hydraulic controllers, gearbox controllers, etc. Weichai's self-developed electronic control system with independent intellectual property rights meets the needs of multiple power intelligence and equips China's high-end equipment with the "strongest brain".
