Over 500 units SANY equipment constructed high-speed rail in Indonesia

November 21, 2022, Bali, Indonesia, On the evening of November 16, at the main venue in Bali, President Xi Jinping and President Widodo jointly issued an order to announce the launch of the trial operation of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail has a total length of 142 kilometers and a design top speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It connects the capital Jakarta and Bandung, which is the first high-speed rail in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and also the first overseas construction project of China's high-speed rail with all systems, all elements, and the entire industry chain.

Since the start of the project, countless units of "SANY" equipment have been brought to Java Island, where the project is located.

According to statistics, during the peak period of construction, SANY had more than 500 units large-scale equipment in service, including over 150 units excavators, 60 units rotary drills, 50 units cranes, 150 units mixer trucks, 20 sets of mixing plants and 30 units pump trucks tow pumps, etc.

According to reports, the Dekaruer EMU is the only place for high-speed rail vehicles to be parked and maintained on the entire line. After hard work of SANY equipment, the main project of the EMU was completed by the end of April 2021.

It is worth mentioning that since the start of the project, the monthly comprehensive attendance rate of nearly 200 sets of SANY concrete equipment has reached more than 98%, creating a new record in the local industry.

At present, with the help of large-scale equipment, all 13 tunnels on the high-speed rail line have been fully connected. From Indonesia’s Tsingshan Industrial Park to the completion of China’s first overseas “Lighthouse Factory”, SANY contributed to the construction of the “Belt and Road” and injecting surging impetus into building a China-Indonesia community with a shared future.
