China’s First 100t Electric Drive Mining Vehicle Rolls off Line

On January 21st, the first 100 ton domestically produced electric drive mining dump truck, the Zoomlion ZTE210, was launched in Changsha, Hunan. The model is equipped with Yuchai 12VTD engine. Zoomlion and Yuchai have successfully launched the ZTE210, which is another historic breakthrough in the domestic production of major technical equipment in mines. It has completely rewritten the long-term dependence on imports for the core components of China's 100 ton electric drive dump trucks, and also marks another step forward for Yuchai and Zoomlion towards the high-end mining equipment market.

The ZTE210 has a total length of 11.8 meters, a width of 6.8 meters, and a height of 6.5 meters. It is currently the largest mining truck with a self weight of about 90 tons and a rated load capacity of 120 tons. It can be widely used in large and medium-sized open-pit coal mines, iron mines, and various metal open-pit mines with an annual stripping capacity of over 5 million tons.

It is the first domestically produced 120 ton electric drive mining truck in the industry, equipped with a domestically produced high-power diesel engine for vehicles, achieving domestic production from core components to the entire vehicle, ensuring the resilience and safety of the supply chain, and breaking through the blockade of key core technologies by foreign countries for the first time.

The ZTE210 is equipped with a Yuchai 12VTD engine, which is the only engine in China that uses electronic control high-pressure common rail technology, with a power of up to 1450 horsepower and a maximum speed of 51km/h.

The ZTE210, paired with the Yuchai 12VTD, has a significantly leading power performance in the industry, with a total power exceeding that of products in the same class by 8%. The heavy-duty climbing speed is fast, and the transportation efficiency is improved by more than 10%.

The strong alliance between Zoomlion and Yuchai will continue to contribute stronger ace strength to the high-quality and sustainable development of China's advanced equipment manufacturing industry.
