The body decals of the Chery Rive R900 B-type RV adopt a more aggressive and bold design. The entire vehicle is mainly black in color, with a high-saturation contrast of orange and cyan, highlighting its wildness and individuality. As a four-wheel drive off-road RV, AT tires, blacked-out aluminum alloy wheels, and blacked-out air intake grilles are all essential off-road elements, and the effect they present is indeed very good-looking and cool.
The R900 is modified from a Ford Transit T8 long-wheelbase high-roof four-wheel drive VAN, with a body length of 5,998mm, a width of 2,194mm and a height of 2,950mm. The standard front headlights are equipped with full LED light sources. Above the front windshield is a customized large-sized curved sunroof that can be opened from inside the vehicle for ventilation and air exchange.
Among a variety of RV modification models, the Ford Transit T8 is currently the most comfortable model that combines the advantages of both driving comfort and technological feel. The design of the cab also aligns with the cabin of Ford passenger cars, featuring dual screens, an electronic gearshift lever, and voice operation support. Some of the decorative panels on the operation console are decorated with wood grain, which makes it look more upscale.
For the powertrain, it is equipped with a Ford PUMA 2.3T diesel engine, with a maximum power output of 128kW and a peak torque of 430N·m. It is paired with a ZF 8AT transmission. This powertrain is consistent with the two-wheel drive version of the T8. The difference is that it comes standard with a full-time four-wheel drive system and a rear differential lock. Since it is not a hardcore pure off-road RV, such a configuration is sufficient to handle the vast majority of road conditions.
