In the River product line, the Qijie A700 and R700 are a pair of "identical twins" - they share over 90% of the upper assembly craftsmanship, configuration standards and manufacturing systems. The only difference lies in the chassis selection, yet they have a price difference of nearly 200,000 yuan. The suggested retail price of the new R700 is 468,000 yuan.
It retains all the core qualities of the R700 at a lower chassis cost: aviation-grade ABS blister interior, original factory cage-like body craftsmanship, a large horizontal bed brought by the blind window protruding design, and a water and electricity configuration of a 102L double-door refrigerator and a 3000W inverter. All these configurations that were once the "high-end label" of the R700 are now available on the A700.
The Rive R700 is based on the Jiangling New Transit V348 chassis. Due to the discontinuation of the chassis, the production of the R700 also had to be halted.
In order to continue the upper assembly craftsmanship and configuration advantages of the R700, River RV has applied the upper assembly of the R700 to the "twin brother" Jiangling Fushun chassis and launched the Qijie A700.
The overall dimensions of the A700 are 5998×2098×2845mm, with a height of less than 3 meters and a length of less than 6 meters. It is available in both 4-seat and 6-seat models. It can be driven with a blue license plate and a C license, and enjoys free expressways during holidays.
The entire vehicle is developed in a forward direction. It features an original factory cage-like structure body and is modified without welding throughout the vehicle. The whole vehicle is designed with balance, and butyl rubber shock absorbers are used. The entire vehicle is treated with thermal break bridge insulation and sound insulation.
The blind window expansion design makes the rear transverse bed size reach 2,050 meters ×1350mm, which is longer than the bed of the same type of RV and has a high space utilization rate.
The Rival Qijie A700 is equipped with a 2.0T+8AT diesel engine from the same platform as the Ford PUMA, featuring front-engine and rear twin-tire drive. The chassis has a carrying capacity of 4.25 tons and a curb weight of 3.4 tons. Standard equipped with driver and front passenger airbags, keyless start.
The entire vehicle's vacuum forming process adopts ABS aerospace-grade vacuum forming material. The vehicle body is all made of the original vehicle's special-shaped mold. The process and material of the sheet are consistent with those of the high-end models of River.
Water and electricity configuration: 12V400Ah lithium battery, approximately 5 KWH of electricity, paired with a 3000W on-board charging inverter integrated machine. The waterway system is equipped with a 105L fresh water tank, a 66L sewage tank, a gravity water filling port and an external shower system.
The curved double-layer laminated panoramic sunroof above the cab enhances the transparency of the interior lighting. It is equipped with a light-blocking privacy curtain, and the clear height of the interior is 1.84 meters.
