In recent years, Bosch has continued to actively invest and comprehensively layout the hydrogen energy field, possessing technological advantages and a rich product portfolio. Moreover, the core components of the battery stack and hydrogen fuel cell have basically achieved localization. Currently, Bosch is accelerating the development and industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell system technology in the Chinese market.
Bosch's electric stack, electronic air compressor, hydrogen injection valve components, multifunctional power controller, and super thermal management system have all been put into production in China and gradually put into the market. Among them, Bosch's first hydrogen fuel cell center in China was put into use in Wuxi in early 2021, and Bosch's world's first high-yield membrane electrode production line was also put into use in Wuxi at the beginning of the year. The bipolar plate production line is expected to be officially put into operation in 2025.
The hydrogen fuel cell project jointly invested by Bosch and Qingling will be put into use in Chongqing in September this year, which will be the world's largest hydrogen fuel cell research and production base.
Bosch Hydrogen Power System has collaborated with multiple car companies to declare more than 20 new car announcements. Over 500 commercial vehicles equipped with Bosch Hydrogen Power System have been delivered, and the actual road operating mileage exceeds 1.7 million kilometers. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Bosch Hydrogen Power System has demonstrated system reliability and operational efficiency in logistics transportation scenarios such as providing cold chain logistics services and delivering to Chongqing supermarkets.
Next, Bosch will collaborate with JD to continue exploring and practicing the operation of hydrogen fuel logistics vehicles. Bosch Hydrogen Power will continue to upgrade and optimize around energy management, driving comfort, diagnosis, and service to better meet the needs of the Chinese market.
